WWII US Airship Manufacturing Sites
Most persons do not think of Airships when considering WWII aircraft, but they are were very important in convoy anti-submarine patrol in the North Atlantic.  No ship was ever lost in a convoy escorted by Airships.  Data obtained from Goodyear website and brochures.
