Indiana M60 Patton Tanks
This page updated 10-30-2018.

There are twenty-six M60 tanks on outside display throughout Indiana.  Currently I have been able to photograph the 11 shown below.  More will be added as I find time to travel to the location of the remaining M60s.  A total of 12,671 of all M60 variants were built by the Chrysler Warren Tank Arsenal in Michigan.

Bedford:  Indiana Army National Guard Armory,  M60 Patton, January 2017 - This M60 has seen better days.  Weather of the the rubber parts is most evident.


Bluffton:  Indiana Army National Guard Armory,  M60 Patton, August 2016


Edinburgh:  Camp Atterbury Display Area,  M60 Patton, February 2016


Fairmount:  American Legion Post 313,  M60 Patton, March 2016 - This is serial number 1588.


Linton:  Humphreys City Park,  M60 Patton, January 2018

Marion:  Army National Guard Armory,  M60 Patton, January 2017


Muncie:  Army National Guard Armory,  M60 Patton, December 2015 - This is serial number 675.


New Albany:  VFW Post 1693,  M60, March 2017 - There are two VFWs in New Albany, and both have M60s on display.

Shelburn:  American Legion Post 197,  M60 Patton, February 2016 - The M60 is on display between two three inch World War Two naval guns.  It is serial number 1015.


Seymour:  VFW Post 1925,  M60 Patton, February 2016 - This is serial number 1246.


Seymour:  Indiana Army National Guard Armory,  M60 Patton, January 2017 -  This is the first M60 I have seen that has a Chrysler name tag on it.


South Bend:  Military Honor Museum,  M60 Patton, May 2017


Terre Haute:  National Guard Armory, M60A1 Patton, January 2018

Van Buren:  Former American Legion Post,  M60A3 Patton, October 2016 - This M60 was removed from this site in late 2017.  I will keep the photos on the page for historic purposes.
